Under the Mukhya Mantri Digital Education Scheme, Class 10 toppers in Delhi government schools will get i7 laptops. The scheme will incur an expenditure of Rs 8 crore.
In a written reply in Lok Sabha, Minister of state Ramdas Athawale said the scheme aims to boost SC and ST students’ enrolment in higher education and will continue. It is being implemented with Cabinet-approved funding and eligibility norms valid till 2025-26.
