Sharda University conducts cultural fest ‘Chorus 2023’

Apart from the students of Sharda University, those belonging to other colleges turned up at the event too
NEW DELHI: Sharda University organises the 2023 edition of its annual cultural fest, titled 'Chorus 2023. The fest is being held from March 23 to 25, 2023. The theme of the cultural fest is 'Symphony of Senses', which aims to celebrate the richness in the cultural diversity of the country.
On the first day of the fest, many students belonging to various colleges and universities of Delhi, such as Amity University, Galgotias University, GL Bajaj University and others also attended the event. Lamp lighting marked the inauguration of the festival.

Various dance performances and musical performances by artists were staged on the occasion. Padma Shri recipient, Geeta Mahalik also performed at the event. Day 1 of the fest ended with the musical performance by Bollywood singer, Ankit Tiwari.
Attendees from over 70 countries, including faculty members and students are also expected to arrive in the fest. More than 50 events such as debates, fashion shows, monologues, stand-up comedy performances, rap wars, open-mic shows etc will take place in the three day long fest.
While speaking at the event Parma Nand, Sharda school of Engineering and Technology Dean, said, "Such events would bring together participants from different institutions to participate in varied fun-filled events and competitions, with an aim to empower students to showcase their skills and talents, interact with their peers and gain invaluable insight into the process".
Talking about Chorus 2023, Sharda University international relations director, Ashok Daryani, said, "We are happy to see enthusiasm among students for this event. The event brings together participants from various institutions, thereby providing an opportunity for knowledge exchange with each other too.”
