Sharda University held convocation ceremony; More than 3,000 students awarded with degrees
At the 6th convocation, 3,159 students received their degrees. Selected students were awarded with merit certificates, vice chancellor's gold medals and chancellor's gold medals.

NEW DELHI: Sharda University held its 6th convocation ceremony on October 11, 2022 at the Anand Swaroop Auditorium. During the ceremony, 3,159 students of the 2021-22 batch were awarded with their degrees. Apart from this, other medals were also given to selected students.
The convocation awarded 29 PhD degrees, 76 vice chancellor gold medals, 119 certificates of merit, 5 chancellor’s gold medals, and one AK Gadpayle medal to students. The minister of education Dharmendra Pardhan attended the event as the chief guest. The university also awarded Chairman of the department of atomic energy, Kamlesh Nilkanth Vyas with an honorary doctorate degree for his contributions in the field of science.

Congratulating the students Sharda University, Chancellor, PK Gupta said: “convocation has different signification for every student in his life. It is a matter of immense pride for every education institute when the student achieves success in his life. Every day new technologies come in every filed therefore you always keep learning. When a student who is studying succeeds in life, the teacher and the educational institution feel a great sense of pride. It is a matter of most pride for the teacher and the educational institution when the student who is studying achieves success in life.”
In recent news, the university began new academic sessions for the newly-enrolled students on September 13, 2022. Around 4,000 students enrolled in different programmes at Sharda University. An orientation programme showed 10,000 students attending the event.
