Sona College of Technology starts B.E/B.Tech admissions 2020

Sona College of Technology, Salem, Tamil Nadu has started admissions to its four-year B.E/B.Tech programmes for the academic year 2020-24. The college offers more than 10 B.E/B.Tech specializations. Candidates seeking admission in Sona College of Technology must check the eligibility criteria set up by the college for admissions. Candidates can apply in either online or offline mode for admission in B.E/B.Tech programmes at www.sonatech.ac.in.

Eligibility

Candidates willing to take admission in B.E/B.Tech programmes offered by Sona College of Technology must fulfill the following eligibility criteria-

• For admission, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50% of marks each in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.

• A selection committee is set to shortlist candidates on the basis of guidelines under the scheme. However, the selection is purely provisional and always subject to the confirmation from the Anna University / Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai.

Note:

• The grade sheets of the candidates must be in English. If the grade certificates and other academic certificates are in any other language, then candidates will have to carry out English translations through a notary / legal translator.

• There would be a requirement from DOTE (Directorate of Technical Education) seeking a grade equivalence, in such cases, the responsibility lies with the candidate to submit the grade equivalence signed by the authorized signatory from the concerned school.

Application Fees & Mode of Application-

Candidates can apply in either online or offline mode by paying an application fee of Rs 500.
