NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2020 from August 13 to 24, 2021. The SSC CGL exam 2020 for tier 1 will be conducted in computer based online mode. Candidates who successfully downloaded the SSC CGL admit card 2020 can appear in the exam. Before appearing in the CGL 2021 exam, aspirants must check some dos and don'ts to avoid any mistakes.

The region-wise admit card for the CGL exam has been released on the SSC regional websites. The SSC CGL 2020 application form was released on ssc.nic.in, the last date to apply for the CGL 2021 was January 31, 2021.

SSC CGL 2021: Dos and Don'ts - What to do at CGL 2021 exam centre?

  • Aspirants must carry the SSC CGL admit card 2021 to the exam centre along with one government-issued photo-ID like voter ID, Aadhaar card, driving license, passport, PAN card etc.

  • Candidates are advised to carry the same photo ID which they used while filling the CGL application form 2021.

  • Along with the photo ID and the admit card, CGL aspirants must also carry a passport size photograph identical to the one they used while filling the application form of CGL 2021.

  • Candidates must reach the designated CGL exam centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time to avoid traffic congestion, find the better routes, roadblocks and to cooperate with the smooth process of the security checks at the exam centre.

  • At the SSC CGL exam centre, the aspirants must support exam centre staff in document verification, thermal checks, photo identification etc.

  • As a precautionary measure to combat the spread of COVID-19, aspirants must carry a hand sanitiser in a transparent bottle along with double masking and maintain social distancing.

  • At the CGL exam centre, aspirants will have to fill in an attendance form. They will be allotted a system, where they will have to read all the instructions mentioned on the system and wait for the instructors for the next step.

  • Candidates must carry an extra set of ballpoint pens for various form filling processes.

CGL 2021 - Dos and Don'ts - What not to do at the SSC CGL exam centre?

  • Candidates must not rush themselves into the exam centre. They must stand in the designated queue and support the exam centre officials as well as co-operate with fellow candidates.

  • Aspirants must not wear or carry costly items like jewellery or electronic items like smart watch, mobile, pen drive, bluetooth device, pen camera etc.

  • They must not be involved in disciplinary activities like cheating, passing hidden notes, copying.

The SSC CGL exam is conducted to fill in various posts in the Income Tax, Excise duty, Enforcement departments for Officer, Inspector and other posts. Tier 1 will be followed by tier 2, 3 and 4 subject to their qualification in each stage.
