SSC CGL 2023 application begins tomorrow at ssc.nic.in

Candidates can apply for the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam till May 1, 2023.
NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam 2023 notification tomorrow, April 1, 2023. Candidates who want to appear in the SSC CGL 2023 Tier 1 exam can register online through the official website- ssc.nic.in. The last date to apply for the exam is May 1, 2023.

The SSC CGL 2023 application fee is Rs 100. However, women candidates, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) category candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is scheduled to be conducted from July 14 to July 27, 2023. Candidates who will qualify the Tier 1 exam will be eligible for the Tier 2 examination.
The Tier 1 exam 2023 will be conducted online. As per the SSC CGL paper pattern, the questions in the Tier 1 exam will be of general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness, quantitative aptitude and English comprehension.

There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. However, no marks will be deducted if the question is left unattempted. The paper will be in both English and Hindi languages except for English comprehension.
The SSC CGL Tier 2 paper will be a bit difficult as compared to Tier 1. The questions in Tier 2 will be on quantitative ability, statistics, general studies and English language and comprehension.
