SSC CGL 2025 tier 2 city intimation slip out at ssc.gov.in; GD constable form correction dates revised

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the city intimation slip for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL 2025), tier 2. As per the notice, candidates can now check their SSC CGL 2025 tier 2 city details by logging in through the designated candidate login module available on the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.

Candidates are required to use their registration credentials, such as their application number and password, to access the SSC CGL 2025 tier 2 city details. The commission states that the SSC CGL 2025 tier 2 city information has been made accessible in advance to help candidates plan their travel and other arrangements for the exam.

The SSC CGL city slip only informs candidates about the name of the exam city. Details such as the examination date, shift timing, reporting time, and exam centre address will be mentioned in the admission certificate, which will be released separately by the commission.

SSC CGL 2025 tier 2 admit card release date

The SSC CGL 2025 tier 2 admit card will be released two to three days before the date of the exam. The admit card will be available for download through the same login module on the SSC website.

“The ‘Admission Certificate’ for the said examination will tentatively be available for download 02/03 days prior to date of examination. The same can be accessed through the designated login module on the website of the Commission (https://ssc.gov.in/) in a similar manner. Detailed instructions in this regard are available in the Notice published on 09.06.2025 on the website of the Commission,” the commission said.

The SSC CGL 2025 tier 2 exam will be conducted on January 18 and January 19. A total of 1,39,395 candidates are declared qualified for the tier 2 exam. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 14,582 vacancies in various posts.

Ahead of the tier 2 exam, the commission has also issued the final answer key, candidates’ response sheets, and marks for the SSC CGL 2025 tier 1. Candidates can access the SSC CGL tier 1 response sheet and check their final marks on the official website. The link to download the response sheet and view marks will remain active till February 8, 2026.

New dates for SSC GD 2025 form correction

Separately, the commission has also announced a change in the schedule for the online application form correction window for the Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026.

According to the notice, the application correction window for the SSC GD Constable exam 2026 has been rescheduled and will now be open from January 10 to January 13.

During this period, candidates will be allowed to make corrections in their online application forms and complete the payment of applicable correction charges through the SSC portal. The commission clarified that the rescheduling applies only to the correction window and payment timeline.

Earlier, the application correction window was scheduled to remain open from January 8 to January 10, 2026.

“All other terms and conditions mentioned in the Notice of the Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026 shall remain the same,” the official notice said.
