Subscribe NowThe Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the result for the Combined Hindi Translator (CHT) paper 1 today, November 4. According to the SSC, a total of 3,642 candidates have been shortlisted to appear for the SSC CHT Paper 2 exam 2025.
Candidates who appeared for the exams can check the SSC CHT paper 1 result 2025 through the official website, ssc.gov.in. The commission states that the results of two candidates have been withheld due to various reasons. Additionally, the results of six candidates have not been processed owing to their disqualification from the SSC examinations.
“Representations received from the candidates with regard to Tentative Answer Key(s) have been carefully examined, and the Answer Key(s) have been modified wherever necessary. The Final Answer Key(s) have been used for evaluation,” the official notice said.
The Commission has also announced the final vacancy details for the SSC CHT 2025. As per the final vacancy list, the recruitment drive now aims to fill 552 posts. Initially, the examination was announced for 437 vacancies across various departments.

The SSC CHT 2025 exam was held on August 12 in computer-based mode. A total of 6,332 candidates appeared for Paper 1. The minimum qualifying marks prescribed for Paper 1 were 30 per cent for candidates belonging to the unreserved (UR) category, 25 per cent for OBC and EWS categories, and 20 per cent for all other categories.
Candidates who declared qualified for the SSC CGT paper 1 will now be invited to appear for paper 2. SSC CHT Paper 2 is a descriptive exam conducted in pen-and-paper mode for 200 marks. It evaluates candidates’ proficiency in Hindi and English through translation tasks and essay writing in both languages.
