SSC CPO recruitment 2023 exam is scheduled to be held in October and the last date to apply is August 15. Know vacancies, salary details.

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the application process for recruitment exam of sub-inspector in Delhi police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The exam is scheduled to be conducted in October.
There are a total of 162 vacancies for sub-inspector in Delhi police and 1,714 vacancies for sub-inspector in CAPFs. The last date to apply for the SSC CPO exam 2023 is August 15.
Candidates will have to pay Rs 100 as application fee during the registration. The commission will levy a uniform correction charges of Rs 200 for making correction and submitting the form for the first time and Rs 500 for making correction for the second time.
Women candidates and applicants belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are exempted from paying application fee.

Instructions to fill CPO form
- Candidates will have to submit the application form at the SSC official website, ssc.nic.in.
- Should upload the scanned colour passport size photograph in JPEG/JPG format (20 KB to 50 KB).
- The photograph uploaded in the form should be without cap and spectacles. The frontal view of the face should be clearly visible.
- Candidates must indicate the preferred exam centres to take the online examination.
Those shortlisted candidates for the post of sub-inspector (GD) in CAPFs and sub-inspector executive in Delhi Police as per pay scale of Level-6 will get a salary ranging between Rs.35,400 to Rs.1,12,400.
