SSC GD 2025 registration deadline soon; commission urges to apply early

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will soon end the registration process for the General Duty (GD) constable recruitment 2025. The last date to submit the SSC GD 2025 application form is October 14. The commission has urged candidates to complete their online applications well before October 14, 2024, to avoid delays caused by heavy website traffic.
“It is hereby reiterated in the interest of the candidates of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2025 that they should submit their Online Application Form much before the closing date i.e., 14.10.2024 and not wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of rush on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days,” the commission informed through official notice.
“Candidates are further cautioned that no extension of the last date for submission of the Online Application Form shall be granted under any circumstances,” the commission further said.
Eligible candidates can apply for SSC GD recruitment 2025 through the official website, ssc.gov.in. The SSC recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 39,481 vacancies for various positions including GD constable, CAPFs, SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau.
The application form correction window for SSC GD 2025 application form correction will be open from November 5 to November 7, 2024. The tentative exam dates are scheduled for January to February 2025. Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100 through online mode only to register for the SSC GD 2025 5xam. Candidates belonging to the women, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) categories are exempt from this fee.
