SSC GD Constable Exam 2024: The recruitment drive aims to fill 26,146 vacancies in various departments.
NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will soon upload the answer key for the SSC General Duty (GD) constable exam 2024. The delay in the SSC GD answer key 2024 is attributed to a re-exam conducted on March 30. Candidates will be able to download the answer key through the official website, ssc.gov.in.
The SSC recruitment drive aims to fill 26,146 vacancies for General Duty constables in various departments, including the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau, through the SSC GD exam 2024.
To access the SSC GD constable answer key 2024, candidates will need to utilize their login credentials, such as their registration number and password. The answer key contains essential details about the candidate, including their name, registration number, application number, exam date, and time. Additionally, it includes the question ID, the candidate's response, and the correct answer.
Once the SSC issues the GD constable provisional answer key 2024 candidates will be allowed to raise objections against it through the official website.
The SSC GD constable exam took place from February 20 to March 12, 2024, in multiple shifts. A total of over 47 lakh candidates participated in the GD constable exam 2024 and the re-exam was conducted for 16,185 candidates.
The SSC GD constable re-exam 2024 was held due to technical issues at some centres. Only candidates whose centre names had been notified in the SSC GD exam centre list 2024 for the re-exam were allowed to appear for the test.

SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024: Selection process
The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in various stages, including the Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination, and Document Verification. The physical criteria for male and female candidates vary and are detailed in the table below.
