NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the Junior Engineer (JE) paper 2 for civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and quantity surveying and contracts today, February 26, 2023. Candidates will have to carry the SSC JE paper 2 admit card to the examination centre.

SSC JE 2022 paper 2 will be a descriptive exam comprising 300 questions. Candidates will be appearing for any one of the four parts - Part A general engineering (civil and structural) or Part B general engineering (electrical), or part C general engineering (mechanical) or part D general engineering (electronics).

Candidates who qualified in SSC JE 2022 paper 1 are eligible to appear for paper 2 exam. A total of 15,605 candidates qualified for paper-2 for the civil engineering exam and 4,533 qualified for electrical, mechanical engineering.

  • On the homepage, click on the link for SSC JE admit card 2022
  • Enter your login credentials
  • SSC JE 2022 admit card will appear on the screen
  • Download and save for future reference

Candidates qualifying SSC JE paper 2 have to appear for document verification, following which the final result will be announced. Based on the SSC JE final result, candidates will be selected for recruitment to the posts available under various departments as Junior Engineers.

SSC conducts JE exam in two stages – Paper 1 and 2 - to shortlist candidates for the recruitment process. SSC JE paper 1 comprises objective type questions whereas paper 2 consists of conventional type questions.
