NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the Junior Engineer (JE) paper 1 result 2022 today. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check SSC JE paper 1 result and cut-off on the official website - ssc.nic.in. A total of 15,605 candidates have qualified for SSC JE paper-2 for civil engineering and 4,533 have qualified for electrical, mechanical engineering.
“As Paper-I (Computer Based Examination) of the said Examination was conducted in multiple shifts, marks scored by candidates have been normalized as per the formula published by the Commission on its website on 07.02.2019. As per the provisions under Para 14.7 of the Notice of the Examination, normalised marks of the candidates have been used for processing the result to qualify the candidates for the next stage of Examination (i.e. Paper-II),” said SSC in an official notification.

The commission informed that the minimum qualifying marks in SSC JE Paper-I have been fixed as 30% ( 60 marks) for unreserved category, 25% (50 marks) for Other Backward Classes (OBC), or Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and 20% (40 marks) for all other categories.

SSC withheld the result of 22 candidates due to various court cases. It also informed that SSC JE paper 1 final answer keys will be available on the official website from February 7 to 21. SSC JE Paper 2 is tentatively scheduled to be held on February 26.
“Marks of the qualified/ non-qualified candidates in CBE will be made available on the website of the Commission. This facility will be available from 03.02.2023 to 17.02.2023. Candidates may check their marks by logging in through their registered ID and password,” further said SSC.
