SSC steno grade C, D option-cum-preference window closes today at ssc.nic.in

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the option-cum-preference submission window for stenographer grade C, D exam 2023 today, February 2. Candidates who appeared in the SSC Stenographer skill test can submit their option-cum-preference through the official website, ssc.nic.in.

The preference last submitted by candidates will be considered as final by the commission. Any request of preference submission after the deadline will not be considered and such candidates will not be included in the SSC stenographer recruitment grade C, D final merit list.

"Candidates may please also note that option-cum-preference can be revised only during the aforesaid period and the Option-cum-Preference last submitted by the candidate will be treated as final. Candidates who fail to exercise their Option-cum-Preference during the aforesaid period, shall not be given any further opportunity for submission of their Option-cum-Preference and such candidates will not be considered for inclusion in the final merit list/final selection," SSC notification read.

Candidates can use their login details such as registration number and date of birth to fill the SSC steno grade C, D option-cum-preference form 2023.

SSC conducted the recruitment examination stenographer grade C and D vacancies on October 12 and 13, 2023. The examination was conducted online via computer-based test mode. The result of paper-1 was announced on November 24, 2023. Furthermore, the SSC administered the skill test on January 3 and 4, 2024.

• On the homepage, login using your credentials such as username and password.
• Click on the option-cum-preference.
• Enter the details.
• Click on save and submit the form.
• Download and take a printout for further reference.
