NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the exam city slip for the stenographer 2024 recruitment exam. As per the official schedule, the stenographer 2024 tier 1 exam will be held on December 10, 11. Eligible candidates who filled out the SSC stenographer application form 2024 can check their exam city through the official website at ssc.gov.in.

As per the official notice, the commission will issue the SSC stenographer admit card 2024 on December 5. Candidates will have to log in using their registration number and password to download the SSC stenographer 2024 admit card.

“The ‘Admission Certificate’ for the said examination will tentatively be available for download on 05.12.2024. The same can be accessed through the designated login module available on the website https://ssc.gov.in/ in a similar manner. Detailed instructions in this regard are available in the notice published on 26.07.2024 on the website of the Commission,” the official notice read.

The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 2,006 vacancies for various grade C, D stenographer posts. The SSC stenographer exam will be held in two stages. The first stage is the grade C and D written examination, carrying multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Candidates who qualify the first stage will be eligible to appear for the second stage which is the skill test.

SSC Stenographer 2024: Exam pattern

The SSC Stenographer 2024 exam will have three sections including English comprehension, general intelligence and reasoning section and general awareness. The general intelligence and reasoning section and the general awareness section will have 50 questions each, while the English comprehension section will have 100 questions.

As per the marking scheme, candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer while each incorrect answer results in a deduction of 0.25 marks. The exam be conducted for a duration of 2 hours.
