SSC MTS 2024 answer key out at ssc.gov.in; raise objections by December 2

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the provisional answer key for the Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) exam 2024. Candidates who appeared in the recruitment exam 2024 will be able to download the SSC MTS answer key 2024 through the official website, ssc.gov.in.

The commission has also issued the SSC MTS response sheet 2024 along with the provisional answer key. Candidates will have to use their login details such as registration number and password to download the response sheet and to raise objections.

Candidates who are not satisfied with the SSC MTS answer key 2024 can challenge it through the official website. Candidates will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 100 to challenge each question.

“Representations in respect of the tentative Answer Keys, if any, may be submitted online from 29.11.2024 (05:00 PM) to 02.12.2024 (05:00 PM) on Payment of INR 100 per question per answer challenged. Representations received after 05:00 PM on 02.12.2024 will not be entertained under any circumstances,” the official notice read.

The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 9,583 vacancies within the department. Of these, 6,144 vacancies are allocated for the position of MTS, while 3,439 vacancies are designated for the role of Havaldar. The commission conducted the SSC MTS 2024 exam from September 30 to November 19.

SSC MTS Answer Key 2024: Selection process, marking scheme

The SSC MTS exam is conducted in two stages including Paper 1 in the first stage, which is an objective-type test, and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST) in the second stage, which are only applicable to candidates applying for the Havaldar position.

As per the latest pattern, the SSC MTS exam has 90 questions, carrying a total of 270 marks. The questions are available in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages for Session 1, as well as for the General Awareness section of Session 2. Candidates will be awarded three marks for each correct answer, there is a negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer in session 2, while session 1 does not have any negative marking.
