SSC revises stenographer grade C and D exam dates 2026; download city slip through login

SSC stenographer grade C and D city slip 2026 can be accessed on ssc.gov.in; Admit card will be issued 2-3 days prior to the exam
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has revised the exam dates for the stenographer grade C and D tier 1 examination 2026. The commission has also issued stenographer city slip details on its official website at ssc.gov.in through the candidate login portal.

As per the SSC notice, the SSC stenographer grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ exam 2026 will be conducted from September 9 to 12. Earlier, the exams were scheduled from September 9 to 15.
Furthermore, the admit card for the SSC Stenographer C and D examinations will tentatively be available for download two or three days prior to the exam date. Candidates will be able to access their ‘admission certificates’ through the designated login module on the website of the commission.

Stenographer grade C and D Exam 2026: Scribe facility
Candidates availing the ‘Own Scribe’ facility in the Combined Hindi Translator Examination, 2026 (tier-I) and Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Examination, 2026 (tier-I) will register for a scribe on the commission’s website, as scribe registrations prior to November 5, 2025 were disposed off.
The scribe registration has now been integrated with the Aadhaar authentication; therefore, it is mandatory that all such personnel willing to enrol or appear as a scribe will have to complete their fresh registration on the commission’s website.
Candidates who are willing to avail the ‘Own Scribe’ facility in any of the examinations will have to submit their scribe’s registration number for generation of entry pass.
Candidates who opted for ‘own scribe’ will be able to map their scribe OTR till September 6 for combined hindi translator examination 2026 (tier-I) and till September 7 for stenographer grade 'C' and 'D' exam 2026 (tier-I). The scribe entry pass will be generated only for those who map their scribe OTR.
