Earlier this month, the ‘ Study in India ’ portal was launched jointly by the Union education ministry and Union ministry of external affairs.

Through the series, the institutes will get the opportunity to showcase their campus facilities, hold interactive interviews with vice-chancellors and also chat with students and alumni.
The UGC requested institutes to encourage students and faculties to watch the series every Saturday at 9.30 AM.
“This programme is highly beneficial for the students/faculties as it is going to showcase the Indian HEIs for awareness building and dissemination of information, thus, moving a step forward to promote India as a global study destination for students across the globe,” it said.
The government said that it will partner with the top 100 institutes in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for the Study in India (SII) programme. The portal will help international students apply in Indian institutions and courses of their choice.
