Sheffield University to offer Engineering Excellence Scholarship 2024 to overseas students

Study in UK: Overseas fee-status students applying for September intake and attain A level grades of A*AA will be considered for Excellence Scholarship.
NEW DELHI: University of Sheffield UK has announced Engineering Excellence Scholarship 2024 of up to 3000 pounds or Rs 3,15,970 to overseas fee-status students taking admission in undergraduate degree programmes in September 2024.
The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sheffield said that the scholarships will be awarded to overseas fee-status UG students who have a good academic background of the standard Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) offer.
Candidates who attain A level grades of A*AA or above or the equivalent qualification in their country will be considered for the Engineering Excellence Scholarships 2024.
As per the eligibility criteria, candidates should have opted for the University of Sheffield as the first choice in the UCAS application for 2024 entry. They should be classed as an overseas student for tuition fee purposes, and should be taking all prerequisite subjects for their selected degree. The scholarship will be awarded in the form of a cash bursary at the start of the course.

Excellence Scholarship 2024: Eligibility
The Engineering Excellence Scholarship 2024 is divided into three categories and applicants will be awarded based on the academic achievement.
A*A A: 1,000 pounds will be awarded to each applicant who achieves an overall 70% - 79.9% and a further 1,000 pounds per academic year if they maintain overall average mark more than 70% in the previous academic year.
A*A*A: 2,000 pounds will be given to candidates who achieve an overall 80% - 84.9% and 1,000 pounds per academic year upon maintaining more than 70% overall average mark in the previous academic year.
A*A*A*: 3,000 pounds for candidates who achieve an overall 85% or more and a further 1,000 pounds per academic year subject to maintaining a >70% overall average mark in the previous academic year.
