Summer vacations for Chhattisgarh schools from April 24 due to heatwave
Heat Wave: Bhupesh Baghel, Chhattisgarh CM informed the decision of school education department to give summer vacation to school students from April 24.

NEW DELHI: Chattisgarh government has decided to give summer vacation to school students considering the scorching heat in the state. Bhupesh Baghel, chief minister of Chhattisgarh has informed through his official Twitter handle that the Chattisgarh school education department has decided to give summer vacation to school students in the state from April 24, 2022, to June 14.
According to Baghel, the summer vacation will be given to both government and private schools in Chattisgarh. "In view of the scorching heat, the School Education Department has decided to give summer vacation from April 24 to June 14 in all government and private schools of the state," Baghel said in the tweet.
स्कूल शिक्षा विभाग ने भीषण गर्मी को देखते हुए राज्य के सभी शासकीय एवं निजी स्कूलों में 24 अप्रैल से 14 जून तक ग्रीष्मावकाश देने का निर्णय लिया है।

In view of the heatwave situation, many states have revised their school timings being concerned about the students. School timings were rescheduled in Odisha by the state government due to the heatwave condition across the state. According to the school and mass education department of the state, morning classes were scheduled for Classes 1 to 8 from 6:30 am to 10:30 am. For Classes 9 to 12, classes are scheduled to be held from 7 am to 11:30 am.

The state of Andhra Pradesh also initiated a half-day schedule for school students of Classes 1 to 9. Similarly, the Telangana government and the Bihar government also changed the school timings in response to the increasing temperature.
