NEW DELHI: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) will issue the Class 12 hall tickets for private students on February 19, as per reports. The TN Class 12 board exam 2024 is scheduled to be held from March 1 to 22 at various exam centres across the state.
Students who have registered for the TN 12th board exam 2024 under the private candidate category will be able to download the hall ticket from the official website, dge.tn.gov.in, on Monday.
Tamil Nadu higher secondary examination (HSE) board exams for private candidates will be held during March-April and supplementary examination during June-July. Private students will have to enter their application number and date of birth in order to download their TN Class 12 hall tickets 2024. The admit card will have details of examination centre allotted, exam date and timings.
As per the new pattern, the provision of awarding internal marks is not applicable to direct private candidates. Marks obtained for 90 in theory will be converted to 100 marks and students will have to secure a minimum of 35 marks in each subject to be declared pass.
The Tamil Nadu board informed that the Class 12 question papers will be in Tamil and English medium. However, for the ten subjects - physics, chemistry, biology, botany, zoology, mathematics, history, commerce, economics and accountancy - question papers will also be provided in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Urdu medium.
