Around 8,69,423 students appeared on the Tamil Nadu 12th Class examination last year. Out of which 3,89,250 were boys and 4,53,262 students were girls. A total number of 7,69,225 students passed in the TN Board exams successfully which is 91.3 per cent. The pass percentage of girls came out to be 93.6 per cent while 88.6 per cent of boys passed the Class 12 Tamil Nadu exams.
