Download NowThe Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu is expected to announce the TN 12th result on May 8. The latest update on the official results website states that the TN 12th results will be published soon. A School Education Department official told PTI that the answer sheet evaluation is complete, and the TN Class 12 results will be announced soon after the election results are declared.
As of now, there is no official update about the TN 12th result date and time. Students who appeared for the HSC public exams conducted from March 2 to 26, 2026, will be able to check their TN 12th result on the official websites at tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in.
To check the TN +2 results, students will need to enter their hall ticket number and date of birth. This year, over 8 lakh students are waiting for the results.
The TN Class 12 marksheet will include the student’s name, roll number, parents’ names, photograph, school name, subject-wise marks, total marks, and qualifying status. Students should check all the details carefully after downloading the scorecard. If there is any mistake, they should contact their school for correction.
TN 12th Result 2026: How to check?
Follow the instructions below to check and download the TN Class 12 result.
- Visit the official website, tnresults.nic.in.
- On the homepage, click on the “+2/ HSC Examination Results 2026” link.
- In the next step, enter your hall ticket number and your date of birth.
- Click on the “view result” button.
- The TN 12th result will appear on the screen.
- Download and take a printout of the online marksheet for future use.
Last year, the Tamil Nadu 12th results had a pass percentage of 95.03%. Around 7.92 lakh students appeared for the exam, and about 7.53 lakh passed. A total of 4,19,316 boys and 3,73,178 girls took the exam. The TN 12th pass percentage for girls was 96.7%, 3.54% higher than that of boys, who had 93.16%.
