NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) announced that the Tamil Nadu Class 12 Higher Secondary Certificate Examination results will be declared on May 8. Students who appeared in the board exams 2023 held from March 13 to April 3 will be able to check their marks through the official website, dge.tn.gov.in. Tamil Nadu “HSE(+2) results are expected on Monday, 8th May 2023, at 9:30 AM,” the official website read.
Students will also be able to check their 12th result 2023 Tamil Nadu through the website, tnresults.nic.in. Those students who secure 35 marks in each subject out of a total of 100 marks will be declared pass in the Class 12 exams.
As per the Times of India report, the decision to defer TN 12th result date 2023 was taken as National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2023) is scheduled on May 7. Several teachers associations requested to postpone the result date as they felt that the results may affect their performance in NEET UG 2023. The state has reported several NEET suicide cases in the past and have been requesting the Centre for exempting the state from conducting the medical entrance exam.
