Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission 2024: TNEA tentative allotment for special reservation out
TNEA Counselling 2024: Candidates under 7.5% government school, differently abled, sports, and ex-serviceman categories will have to accept the allotted seats by 5 pm today.

NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has uploaded the tentative allotment results for 7.5% government school differently abled, sports, and ex-serviceman category candidates for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA 2024). Candidates have been instructed to login using the credentials generated to confirm the TNEA admission allotment before 5 pm today.
The tentative allotment has been issued for special category candidates at the official website, tneaonline.org. The 7.5% seats on preferential basis for government school students who have studied from Class 6 to 12 in Tamil Nadu government schools will apply to all categories of reservation including the general category, the information brochure read.
Candidates seeking admission against seats under special reservation categories are also eligible for admission under general counselling, it said.
The directorate has also made the government academic seat matrix before the special reservation counselling round.

How to check TNEA allotment results 2024
Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the TNEA tentative seat allotment 2024.
- Visit the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions official website, tneaonline.org.
- Click on the ‘Login’ button displayed on the top right corner.
- Now, key in email address and password in the space provided.
- The TNEA tentative allotment result will be displayed.
- Check the admission status and confirm the allotment by 5 pm today.
- Download the allotment and take a printout for future reference.
