The application form for revaluation and retotalling has been hosted on the official website, dge.tn.gov.in. Students are required to submit the filled application along with the payment in the concerned District Office of the Assistant Director of Government Examinations from 11.06.2025 to 13.06.2025 at 11.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m, the official statement read.
As per the TN HSE 11th result 2025 , a total of 8,07,098 students appeared, out of which 7,43,232 were declared pass. The overall pass percentage of higher secondary first year was recorded at 92.09%.
Meanwhile, TN HSE +1 supplementary exams 2025 for Class 11 students will end today. The TN plus one supplementary results are expected to be declared in July, as per past trends. Students will have to pay Rs 505 per subject to apply for revaluation. For re-totalling, students will have to pay Rs 205 per subject, for Rs 305 for biology paper.
TN HSE Class 11 Result: Rules for retotalling
The Tamil Nadu Board has announced that only these five discrepancies will be considered for retotalling.
- Mistake in total marks awarded.
- Marks not awarded for answers that are valued.
- Marks awarded but not added in the front page.
- Unvalued answers.
- Difference of marks between answer scripts and provisional mark sheet.
As per the norms, the marks awarded will be re-totalled question-wise and page-wise. However, requests for awarding more marks for any answer will not be entertained, it clarified. In case, there is any increase in the marks, a new TN Class 11 mark sheet will be issued by the board.
In re-valuation, all the answers will be re-valued by a team of 3 senior subject teachers. A new mark certificate will be issued for students in case there is an increase or decrease in total marks.
