Download EBookNEW DELHI: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) Tamil Nadu has extended the Tamil Nadu National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2023 counselling registration date. Candidates who have not applied till now can complete the Tamil Nadu NEET registration by July 12. The counselling registration link is available on the official website at tnmedicalselection.net.
Earlier, the last date to apply was till July 10. After receiving many representations from candidates to extend the process for receipt of applications in MBBS and BDS courses for the 2023-2024 academic session, DMER decided to extend the deadline.

The Tamil Nadu NEET counselling registration fee for the general category candidates is Rs 500. However, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Caste Arunthathiyar and Scheduled Tribe category candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
For government quota seats, a security deposit of Rs 30,000 is necessary and for management quota seats, the security deposit amount is Rs 1,00,000. The security deposit will be forfeited if a candidate, who has been allotted a seat in the second or subsequent rounds, fails to join the respective institution.

- Visit the official website, tnmedicalselection.net.
- Click on the Tamil Nadu NEET UG counselling registration link on the homepage.
- Complete the registration process.
- Once registration is done, log in to the account, fill in the application form and pay the application fees.
- Click on the submit button.
- Once done, download the confirmation page.
