The Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee has published the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2026 round 1 seat allotment result for MBBS and BDS admissions 2026-27. A total of 9,437 seats have been allotted across the government and management quota categories.

Candidates allotted seats in TN NEET UG counselling 2026 round 1 must complete the admission process and report to their respective colleges by September 5, 2026.
TN NEET UG 2026 Round 1: Govt and management quota allotment
Under the government quota, 7,484 MBBS and BDS seats have been allotted. The closing general rank for MBBS stood at 27758 at Government Erode Medical College and Hospital, Perundurai. For BDS, the closing general rank is 26617 at K.S.R. Institute of Dental Science & Research, Tiruchengode.
Under the management quota, a total of 1,953 MBBS and BDS seats have been allotted. The MBBS closing general rank is 26929 at Tagore Medical College and Hospital, Chennai. For BDS, the closing general rank stood at 26699 at Ragas Dental College & Hospital, Chennai.

Steps to download TN NEET UG seat allotment result 2026 round 1
Candidates can check their Tamil Nadu NEET seat allotment result by following the steps provided below.
- Visit the official official website at tnmedicalselection.net
- Go to the MBBS/BDS under UG section.
- Click on the TN NEET round 1 seat allotment result link
- Check your seat allotment status and allotted college.
- Download the allotment order and save it for admission.
- Take a printout of the allotment order for reporting at the allotted college.
TN NEET UG 2026 Round 1: Documents required
Candidates reporting to the allotted college should carry the following documents:
- NEET UG 2026 scorecard
- NEET UG 2026 admit card
- Round 1 seat allotment letter
- Class 10 mark sheet/certificate
- Class 12 mark sheet and certificate
- Transfer Certificate (TC)
- Migration Certificate, if applicable
- Community/Caste Certificate, if applicable
- Nativity Certificate, if applicable
- Income Certificate, wherever applicable
- Special category certificates, if applicable
- Aadhaar card or other valid photo ID
- Recent passport-size photographs
- Any other documents specified by the Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee
Candidates should carry the original documents along with required photocopies and complete reporting within the prescribed deadline of September 5, 2026. Earlier, the Tamil Nadu NEET UG rank list 2026 was announced on August 10.
