Tamil Nadu Class 10 Result 2026: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu has announced the TN 10th result 2026. According to the TN 10th toppers, Girls outperform boys by 4.32% in the SSLC board exam 2026. A total of 8,70,643 students appeared for the TN 10th public exam, out of which 8,21,105 students passed, recording an overall pass percentage of 94.31%. TN 10th Results 2026 (OUT) LIVE.

A total of 8,70,643 students appeared for the TN SSLC public examination 2026, including 4,35,247 girls and 4,35,396 boys. Out of them, 8,21,105 students passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 94.31%.

Among girls, 4,19,891 students passed, recording a pass percentage of 96.47%. Among boys, 4,01,214 students cleared the exam with a pass percentage of 92.15%. Girls outperformed boys by 4.32%. A total of 11,174 students were absent for the examination.

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) has declared the TN SSLC result 2026 on the official website of TN board at tnresults.nic.in. To access the TN Class 10 marksheet 2026, students need to enter the details, including registration number and date of birth.

Tamil Nadu SSLC Toppers 2026

A total of 12,467 schools appeared for the TN SSLC examination 2026, including 7,490 higher secondary schools and 4,977 high schools.

Out of these, 5,171 schools recorded a 100% pass result, while 8,233 schools achieved more than 95% pass percentage. Among government schools, 1,931 schools secured a 100% pass result, and 3,463 schools recorded over 95% pass percentage.

In the TN SSLC Result 2026, government schools recorded a pass percentage of 91.86%, while government-aided schools secured 94.34%. Private self-financing schools registered the highest pass percentage at 98.14%.

Among school categories, co-educational schools recorded 94.42%, girls’ schools achieved 96.42%, and boys’ schools registered 88.50% pass percentage.

TN 10th Toppers 2026: Subject-wise

The subject-wise pass percentage in the TN SSLC Result 2026 remained high across all subjects. English recorded the highest pass percentage at 99.44%, followed by Tamil at 98.43%, Science at 98.00%, Social Science at 97.93%, and Mathematics at 97.36%.

In terms of centum scores, 34 students scored full marks in Tamil, 92 in English, 3,194 in Mathematics, 10,476 in Science, and 3,336 in Social Science.

A total of 17,132 students scored 100 marks in at least one subject. Among them, 2,774 students were from government schools.

TN SSC Result 2026: Websites to check

Students will be able to download the Tamil Nadu Class 10 scores 2026 through the official website at tnresults.nic.in, dge.tn.gov.in, and apply1.tndge.org. Apart from the official portal, the TN 10th marksheet 2026 will also be available at DigiLocker's website at results.digilocker.gov.in.

Tamil Nadu Class 10 2026: Passing marks and exam dates

To pass, students need to secure a minimum of 35 marks out of 100 in each subject to pass the Tamil Nadu SSLC examination 2026. For subjects that include practical exams, candidates must score at least 20 out of 75 in theory and 15 out of 25 in the practical component.

The Tamil Nadu Class 10 public examination 2026 was conducted from March 11 to April 6, 2026. The practical examinations were held between February 23 and February 28, 2026.
