TANCET 2022 result: Normalisation process
The authorities will sum up the following formula to allot scores to candidates. The normalisation process helps to balance the scores and judging at par. Since there are various factors which might vary from one discipline to another, a formula using Mean (m) score and standard deviation (S) from raw scores (R) is created. Given below is the TANCET normalisation formula for reference.
Normalised Marks = 40 + (10/s) (r - m)
