NEW DELHI: Anna University Chennai will close the registration window for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET 2025) and Common Engineering Entrance Test & Admissions (CEETA-PG – 2025) tomorrow, February 26. Candidates who have not yet applied can fill up the TANCET 2025 registration form through the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu.

TANCET 2025 is conducted for admission to MBA and MCA, whereas CEETA-PG is held for ME, MTech, MArch, MPlanning admissions.
Candidates who are appearing for the final semester or year of their qualifying degree course during the academic year 2024-25 are eligible to apply for both the TANCET and MTech entrance exams. Those who have cleared the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and wish to pursue MTech courses at Anna University, Annamalai University, or government and government-aided engineering colleges will need to take the CEETA-PG 2025 exam.
The registration fee for the TANCET MCA and MBA entrance exams is Rs 1,000, whereas SC and ST candidates from Tamil Nadu will need to pay Rs 500. For CEETA-PG 2025, the application fee is Rs 1,800, with reserved category candidates required to pay Rs 900.
TANCET 2025 exam date
Anna University will conduct the TANCET 2025 exam on March 22. The CEETA PG 2025 exam date is March 23. As per the official schedule, TANCET 2025 MCA exam will be held from 10 am to 12 noon and MBA exam will be held from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The CEETA PG 2025 exam will be held in a single shift from 10 am to 12 noon.
The TANCET 2025 question paper will have 100 multiple-choice type questions. For every correct answer, student will be awarded with 1 marks and for every wrong answer, 1/4 marks will be deducted.
The TANCET exam 2025 will be conducted in 15 exam centres - Chennai, Coimbatore, Chidambaram, Dindigul, Erode, Karaikudi, Madurai, Nagercoil, Salem, Thanjavur, Tirunelveli, Tiruchirappalli, Vellore, Villupuram, and Bargur. As per the schedule, The TANCET admit card 2025 will be issued on March 8 through the candidate login.
