TANCET result 2024 tomorrow for MBA, MCA admission; expected cut-offs

NEW DELHI: Anna University Chennai will declare the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET 2024) result for admission into MBA, MCA programmes tomorrow, March 28. Candidates who appeared in the state-level entrance exam will be able to download the TANCET results 2024 from the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu.

The TANCET 2024 score card for qualified candidates will be hosted on the TANCET official website from April 3 to May 3. The score card should be downloaded before the deadline and should be produced during the admission process.

“If the score card is lost, a duplicate score card can be obtained on payment of 300/- in the form of a Demand Draft, with a written request to The Secretary (TANCET), Anna University, Chennai – 600 025,” the university informed.

A total of 39,301 candidates appeared in the entrance exam for admission into courses offered by Anna University, Annamalai University, government and government-aided engineering colleges and arts and science colleges, self-financing institutions, other universities functioning under the State Act in Tamil Nadu, and self-financing colleges.

TANCET question paper 2024 carries 100 multiple choice questions carrying one mark each. There will be a negative marking of 1/4th for every incorrect answer. Multiple shading will also be considered as wrong answer and 1/4 mark will be reduced.

The TANCET MCA exams 2024 assess candidates’ knowledge in quantitative ability; analytical ability; logical reasoning, computer awareness, and a few questions on verbal activity, basic science.
