TAPMI records 100 % internship placements for batch of 2020-22

A total of 176 companies recruited 537 students for virtual internships. 18 students self-sourced their internships.
NEW DELHI: As many as 537 students of TA Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) bagged internship offers in the placement drive conducted for the batch of 2020-21. All these students will complete their internships online, given the spike in coronavirus infections.
Over 176 companies participated in the recruitment process hiring students from PGDM (Core), PGDM (BKFS), PGDM (HR), PGDM (MKT) courses. A total of 18 students in the batch also managed to have self-sourced their internships.
Banking and financial services emerged as the largest recruiter with 200 offers followed by automation and IT with 101 offers and FMCG with 38 offers.
In addition, students were made 50 job offers in the marketing, advertising and media services domain and 51 offers in the consulting technology sector. In healthcare and hospitality,17 students landed internship opportunities and 15 students were hired in the logistics and supply chain industry.
Some of the key recruiters included firms like Citi Group, Cognizant, Crisil, Deloitte, EY India, Future Generali, Gartner, GEP, Goldman Sachs, Wipro among others.

In the consulting domain, 21 percent of offers were extended.
