Download NowNEW DELHI: Delhi University to organise a special program jointly with the Value Addition Curriculum (VAC) Committee and Bharat Vikas Parishad on September 5, 2023. The program will be organised to celebrate Teachers day 2023 and the role of teachers in nation building.

The event will comprise of speeches and deliberations on important topics pertaining to education and the contribution of teachers in nation building. A book will also be released to mark the occasion.

The programme coordinator, Professor Niranjan Kumar, Chairman, Value Addition Courses Committee and Dean (Planning), DU, underlined that this is the first event of this nature to be hosted in the university in more than a decade. Kumar further said that the university is continuously and diligently engaged in all-round development of the nation.
The keynote address of the occasion will be given by Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi, former Sarkaryavah. RSS Arjun Ram Meghwal will be present at the event as the chief guest. Suresh Jain, National Organising Secretary, Bharat Vikas Parishad and Adarsh Goyal former Supreme Court Justice shall be the other esteemed guests. The Vice Chancellor of the University of Delhi, Yogesh Singh will preside over the program.
The event will be attended by various national level dignitaries from the academic world, law, industry, police, administration including the Vice-Chancellors of various universities. The programme would also include professors, researchers, principals, deans, and heads of departments.
Meanwhile, Delhi University has announced admissions to Sports Supernumerary quota round 2 for various UG programs 2023- 2024. The university has also released DU Sports Supernumerary quota round 2 schedule online on the official website, admission.uod.ac.in.
