Teachers' Day 2024: Assam government to honour 13 with state awards
State Teachers' Awards 2024: Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma will give the awards on September 5 at Dibrugarh University.

NEW DELHI: 13 teachers in Assam have been selected for State Award to Teacher 2024. The teachers will be awarded on September 5 on the occasion of Teachers’ Day 2024. Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will present the state teachers’ awards.
The state level selection committee shortlisted the teachers based on their contributions in the field of education. The Assam government has asked the awardees to report at Rangghar Auditorium, Dibrugarh University at 8 am. Two family members can accompany the awardee teachers to attend the state-level function.
