NEW DELHI: Kaloji Narayana Rao University Of Health Sciences has started the Telangana NEET PG counselling registration 2024 based on the revised NEET PG cut-off percentile notified by the ministry of health and family welfare (MoHFW). Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria will have to submit their application through the official website, knruhs.telangana.gov.in.
Candidates have been instructed to register online and upload all required documents through tspgmed.tsche.in from 5 pm today to 6 pm on January 11, 2025. Telangana NEET PG provisional final merit for the applied candidates will be prepared based on their score obtained in entrance exam and other eligibility criteria. The final verification will be done during the admission process at the allotted college.
“This notification is for online registration for Competent Authority Quota seats only,” it clarified.
The Telangana NEET PG counselling 2024 was delayed due to discrepancies in the state merit list and new domicile rule. The state government had made it mandatory for medical aspirants to have studied at least four consecutive schooling years in the state to be eligible for the state quota seats. After 94 aspirants moved the high court, it ordered the state government to withdraw the new local residency norm and allow candidates to participate in the counselling as per the previous rules.
On January 4, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) notified the decision made by the health ministry to reduce the NEET PG cut-off 2024 for general category to 15 percentile and for SC, ST, PwD to 10 percentile. The NEET PG cut-offs 2024 have been lowered to ensure all seats are filled by the end of the counselling process.
In this regard, the Telangana NEET PG counselling will also be based on the reduced cut-offs. All candidates who are eligible will be able to take part in the upcoming round.
“In case of in-service candidates, government service rendered shall be calculated as on 30-09-2024,” it said.
Candidates belonging to open and backward category will have to pay Rs 5,500 as registration fee for taking part in the Telangana NEET PG counselling. Those belonging to SC, ST will have to pay Rs 5,000 through online mode.
