TGBIE directs 1st-year intermediate students to pay recognition and green fund fees by October 31

Telangana 1st-year Intermediate Admission 2026: Students in Telangana junior colleges will have to pay Rs 220 as Recognition Fee and Rs 15 as Green Fund Fee for the 2025-26 academic year.
The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has issued instructions regarding the collection of fees for the academic year 2025-26. As per the official notice, all principals of junior colleges in the state are required to collect a 'Recognition Fee' and a 'Green Fund Fee' from each student admitted to the first year of the Intermediate course.
The has fixed the recognition fee at Rs 220, while the Green Fund fee has been fixed at Rs 15 per student. These fees are applicable to students of both general and vocational courses, with separate payments required for each category. As per the official notice, students from government institutions are exempted from paying both the Recognition Fee and Green Fund Fee.
The recognition fee is collected from students to officially register their admission with TGBIE and cover administrative and regulatory costs. The Green fund fee is collected to supports environmental and campus-related initiatives, including maintenance of greenery and sanitation.

“All the Principals of Junior Colleges in Telangana (except Government Junior Colleges) are hereby directed to collect the 'Recognition Fee' @ Rs.220/- (Rupees: Two hundred twenty only) and 'Green Fund Fee' @ Rs.15/- (Rupees: Fifteen only) from each student admitted into 1st year Intermediate Course during the Academic year 2025-26,” the official notice said.
The notice further states that the collected amounts should be remitted directly to the TGBIE account through an online transfer. Colleges are required to use the payment gateway available on the Chief Commissioner of Goods and Services (CGG) web portal at tgbie.cgg.gov.in. The deadline for submitting these payments is set from October 24 to October 31, 2025.
