UP TET advertisement 2018 released; registration to begin from September 18

New Delhi, September 17: Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has released the advertisement for UP TET 2018. As per the advertisement, UP TET application form 2018 will be available from September 18, while the examination will be held on November 4, in offline mode. Aspiring candidates can fill the application form of UP TET 2018 in online mode till October 4. However, for the fee payment, the authority has given one extra day, ie; October 5. Registered candidates can take the printout of their filled in application form of UP TET 2018 till October 6.

This information has been released by the examination authority in some newspapers. However, the official website of UPBEB has not hosted any such information yet.

Besides the dates of UP TET 2018, no other important information has been released, however, as per some national newspapers, some changes have been introduced in UP TET this year. According to the newspaper reports, B.Ed qualified candidates are now eligible to apply for Paper I (from class I to V). Also, there is a separate column for Shiksha Mitra in the application form of UP TET. The other changes introduced for UP TET include fee payment via HDFC online portal in place of SBI portal (which would be responsible for fee payment process earlier). Candidates from other states with D.EL.ED degree recognized from NCTE can also apply for UP TET 2018.

The detailed notification for UP TET 2018 will be available in the due course of time.

UP TET 2018 will be conducted for the recruitment of primary teachers (class I to V) and teachers at upper primary level (class VI to VIII) across schools in Uttar Pradesh. The exam will be conducted for two papers – paper I and II. The paper I (primary stage) will be conducted for the recruitment of teachers in Classes I to V while paper II (elementary stage) will be conducted for those who wish to become teachers in classes VI to VIII. However, if candidates wish, they can apply for both Paper I and II for the eligibility of teachers from class I to VIII.
