TG PGECET 2026 May 28 exam postponed to June 1 due to Bakrid

The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has postponed the TG Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG PGECET) 2026 to June 1. The postponement decision for the TG PGECET 2026 was taken in view of the Bakrid holiday on May 28.

The TGCHE also stated that there is no change in the shift timings for the TG PGECET 2026. The morning shift will be held from 10 am to 12 noon, while the afternoon shift will be conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm.

"The TS PGECET 2026 examinations on 29-05-2026, 30-05-2026 and 31-05-2026 will be conducted as per the schedule," according to the official notification.

TG PGECET 2026 exam dates, shift timings

The TG PGECET 2026 college entrance test will be conducted on May 29, 30, 31 and June 1 in dual shifts.

The computer-based test will be held for admission into full time courses of ME, MTech, MPharm, MArch, Graduate level PharmD (PB) in universities, affiliated engineering, pharmacy and architecture colleges in Telangana for the academic year 2026-2027.

"The candidates who have registered for TG PGECET-2026 examination can download their hall tickets from the website on 22-05-2026, 11:00 AM onwards," it added.
