TISSNET 2023 notification out; application begins tomorrow

NEW DELHI : Tata Institute of Social Sciences has released the TISSNET 2023 admission notification for MA programmes. The application process of TISSNET 2023 will be available at official site - tiss.edu on December 14, 2022

Aspirants can apply through the official website only and the last date for submitting the online application is January 15, 2023. Candidates having lack of access to internet services (remote areas) can write to Mumbai campus for printed application forms. They have to fill out the application form and submit it before the last date of submission.

TISS will offer admissions to 57+ PG degree programmes from its Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati, and Hyderabad campuses for the 2023-2025 batch. Candidates can apply for a maximum of three programmes across any of the two campuses indicating the order of preference (5 One year programmes, 51 two year programmes, three years B.Ed. M.Ed programme and 3 PG diploma programmes).

How to apply for TISSNET 2023

Candidates have to apply through the online application form only. Following are the steps involved in filling up the form

• The candidate has to register with an email id. The candidate will be sent a password that is to be used for logging in and filling out the online form.

• After login, candidates have to fill in their basic details, and academic details and have to mention the programmes they wish to apply for in the order of preference.

• Submit the application fee (depending on the number of programmes applied) either by depositing cash in any branch of SBI or through credit card, debit card or net banking.

• Scan and upload photograph, signature, mark sheet of the last exam passed, and other necessary certificates.

TISS-NET hall ticket 2023 will be uploaded on TISS official website. The Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test will take place in 40 different cities/towns across the country between January 28, 2023, to 28 February 2023.

Only short-listed candidates will receive call letters for the second round of Online Assessment(OPI) to be held in the month of April 2023.The merit list will be prepared based on the preferences given by the candidate in the application form.
