NEW DELHI: The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) will close the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) 2024 counseling registration tomorrow, June 20. Eligible candidates can fill out the TJEE 2024 counseling application form by visiting the official websites, tbjee.nic.in.
Candidates are required to provide their registration number and password to fill up the TJEE 2024 counseling registration form. TJEE 2024 seat allotment will be based on candidates' performance, preferences, and seat availability.
The TJEE 2024 result was declared on June 3. In the PCM group, a total of 2,268 candidates registered for the TJEE 2024 exam, with Ayushkar Nath securing the top rank, followed by Sagnik Purkayastha in second place and Partha Sarathi Roy in third. Meanwhile, in the PCB group, 4,868 candidates registered, with Sayan Majumder emerging as the topper.
TJEE 2024 Counselling: Options after seat allotment
Candidates will have the following options to choose after being allotted a seat in TJEE 2024 counselling.
Freeze option : When a candidate chooses the "freeze" option, it means they are satisfied with the seat allotted to them in the current round of counselling. They do not wish to participate in further rounds or consider any other seat options. Candidates lock their seat choice and confirm their acceptance.
Float option : Opting for "float" allows candidates to accept the currently allotted seat but also indicates their willingness to be considered for higher-preference choices in subsequent rounds of counselling. If a better seat becomes available in further rounds, they may opt for it.
Slide option : The "slide" option enables candidates to accept the currently allotted seat but also allows them to slide to a seat of higher preference within the same institution during subsequent rounds, if such a choice becomes available.
