NEW DELHI: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu will declare the TN 11th results 2024 tomorrow. Students who appeared in the higher secondary examination (HSE) held from March 4 to 25 will be able to check their marks from the official website, dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in. The Tamil Nadu plus one result link 2024 will be hosted on TN result portal as well.
Students who obtain 35 out of 100 marks will be declared qualified. For theory exams carrying 70 marks students will have to score passing marks and for practical exams, the board has not fixed a minimum passing mark. However, students should be present during the practical test.
As per last year’s TN 11th results, the overall pass percentage of Tamil Nadu plus-one students was 90.93%. Girls outshines boys by recording a pass percentage of 94.36% and boys performance stood at 86.99%.
A total of 7,76,844 students registered for the exam last year, of which 7,06,413 were declared pass. Among them, 3,91,968 were girls and 3,14,444 were boys.

Last year, the science stream recorded the highest pass percentage of 93.38%, followed by commerce at 88.08%, and arts at 73.59%.
Students who appeared in this year’s Class 11 board exam 2024 will have to enter their roll number and date of birth to download the mark sheet.
As per the result analysis, the pass percentage has not improved much in the last few years. The highest pass percentage in the last several years was recorded in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
