The exam conducting authority will release the TNEA 2021 rank list on the basis of the normalisation process. The marks scored by candidates from various boards will be equated with the marks obtained by students from Tamil Nadu board to release the final rank list.
TNEA 2021 rank list - Tie breaker rule
In case two or more candidates have the same scores, then exam authority will opt for the tie breaking rule. The tie breaking rule for TNEA rank list 2021 is mentioned below.
Step 1: Candidates with higher percentage marks in Mathematics will be given higher rank.
Step 2: Candidate with higher percentage marks in Physics will be given a higher TNEA rank 2021.
Step 3: Applicants with higher percentage marks in the fourth optional subject will be given a higher rank.
Step 4: Candidates older in age will be given a higher TNEA rank.
Step 5: Tie will break on the basis of TNEA Random Number. Candidates with higher value of Random Number will be given higher rank.
