TNEA 2023 general counselling process begins at tneaonline.org; important dates

The registration window for round 1 counselling of TNEA 2023 will close on September 3.
NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu, today started the online counselling process for engineering admissions, TNEA 2023. The candidates can apply at the official website -- tneaonline.org. The registration window will close on September 3.

The general counselling is being done for academic, government school (7.5% reservation in institutes), vocational students.

The Round 1 of the general counselling for academic and government school students will be held for candidates getting marks between 200 and 177. The round 1 of counselling for TNEA 2023 for vocational students will be held for students getting marks between 199 and 85. The tentative allotment list will be declared on July 31.
The students will have to confirm the allotted seats between July 31 and August 1. The provisional allotment seat list will be issued on August 2. The students who will be allotted seats have to report at the respective institute between August 2 and August 8. The round 2 of the general counselling process of TNEA 2023 will start on August 9.
A total of 7,451 engineering seats are on offer in the first round of counselling process. The TNEA 2023 for special reservation category, including sportsperson, persons with disabilities, and wards of ex-servicemen, was completed on July 27.

- Click on ‘login’ link on the homepage.
- Complete the registration process by filling the relevant information.
- Pay the counselling fee.
- Fill the online choice filling form.
- Submit the application and download the confirmation page for future reference.
