TNEA 2024 counseling registration ends today; eligibility, reservation criteria

TNEA 2024 Counseling: Candidates are required to submit their documents for by June 12.
NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu will close the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2024 registration today, June 6. Interested and eligible candidates can submit the TENA 2024 application form by visiting the official website, tneaonline.org.
Candidates are required to submit their documents for TNEA 2024 counseling by June 12. The allocation of TNEA counseling 2024 random numbers will take place on the same date. The TNEA 2024 rank will be published on July 10 followed by grievance redressal from July 11 to July 20.
TNEA 2024 Counseling Registration: Eligibility criteria
Candidates can have a look at the TNEA 2024 eligibility criteria below.
- Completion of Class 12 or HSC from any recognized board is mandatory.
- Obligatory subjects for TNEA 2024 include Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.
- Minimum scores required for general category is 45% and for reserved candidates it is 40%
- Eligibility for Marine Engineering:
- Candidates must have cleared Class 12 with a minimum of 60% marks in PCM.
- A minimum of 50% marks in English in Class 12 is also required for marine engineering applicants.

TNEA 2024: Application fee
Candidates belonging to the General category are required to pay Rs 500 as TNEA 2024 registration fee. Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, SCA category candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu are required to Pay Rs 250. On the other hand, the TNEA 2024 registration fee for candidates belonging to special reservation category is Rs 100.
