TNEA 2026: Students aiming to secure an engineering seat at government, deemed or private colleges in Tamil Nadu, will be able to download the TNEA rank list through the official website at tneaonline.org.

The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu, has extended the TN Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2026 certificate verification process to June 29 ahead of the declaration of the rank list. Candidates seeking admission to BTech programmes at deemed, private and government colleges in Tamil Nadu will be able to download the TNEA rank list through the official website at tneaonline.org.

Meanwhile, P Vishwanathan, higher education minister, has confirmed that the TNEA 2026 rank list for engineering admissions will be declared on July 1, TOI reported.
The authority will also announce the TNEA 2026 counselling schedule on July 1, the minister said in the report. The postponement of rank list happened due to the delay in CBSE Class 12 results, it added.

The TNEA 2026 rank list will be declared for nearly 2.45 lakh students, of which 28,693 have applied for engineering admissions.
As per the official notification from DoTE, certificate verification for CBSE students will be completed after obtaining the revised board marks.
All pending verifications of CBSE applicants will be finalised before the release of ranks to ensure that candidates receive fair consideration on the basis of their latest academic record.
Candidates will have to report at their allotted TNEA Facilitation Centres (TFCs) in person and submit their original documents for verification.
The TNEA 2026 rank list will determine a candidate's eligibility for participation in counselling and seat allotment. The authority will conduct the TNEA counselling through the centralised counselling process for admission to BTech programmes.
Once the TNEA 2026 rank list is issues, candidates will be able to appear for the counselling process which includes choice filling, seat allotment, confirmation of allotted seats, reporting to colleges, and payment of admission fees.
