TNEA round 2 seat allotment 2026 is out on tneaonline.org. Candidates must log in using their email ID and password to download the allotment letter.

The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu, has released the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2026 round 2 seat allotment result. Those who participated in second round of counselling can log in to the official counselling portal, tneaonline.org using their registered email ID and password to check allotment status.

DoTE has prepared seat allotment on the basis of candidates' choices, rank, category, seat availability and reservation rules. According to the counselling schedule, candidates can confirm their tentative allotment between August 7 and August 8. The provisional allotment for candidates choosing the "Accept" or "Accept and Upward" options will be issued on August 9.

Notice on official website reads, "Round 2 tentative allotment has been released. Kindly log in and confirm your allotment. If you fail to confirm, the allotment may be cancelled."

Steps to check TNEA 2026 round 2 seat allotment

Candidates can follow these steps to download the allotment letter:

  • Visit the official website, tneaonline.org
  • On homepage, click on the TNEA 2026 round 2 seat allotment link
  • Enter the registered email ID and password and click on login button
  • Check the allotted institute and branch details
  • Download and save the allotment letter for future reference

Those who have been allotted seat must report to their allotted colleges between August 9 and August 13. They must carry required documents for verification and completing the admission formalities.

What's next?

After checking the seat allotment, candidates can either accept the allotted seat, download the allotment letter and report to the allotted college or accept the current allotment while remaining eligible for an upgraded seat in the next round. They can also reject the current allotment but continue to participate in subsequent counselling rounds or reject the allotted seat and withdraw from the counselling process.
