Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) Tamil Nadu, has announced the tentative round 3 TNEA seat allotment on the official website of TNEA at tneaonline.org. To check the seat allotment status, applicants need to enter the details, including email ID and password.

The official website reads, “Tentative allotment has been released for third round candidates under both General and Govt. Quota (7.5%). Kindly log in and confirm your allotment on or before 22-08-2026. If you fail to confirm, the allotment may be cancelled.”
The seat allotment result was prepared on the basis of applicants' ranks in TNEA 2026 , preferences, reservation criteria, and seat availability. After the seat allotment, applicants must report to the allotted college with all needed documents and complete the admission process by paying the prescribed admission fee.

To check the TNEA Round 3 Seat Allotment Counselling 2026, follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of TNEA at tneaonline.org
- On the homepage, click on the ‘Govt. Quota (7.5%) Counselling — Round 3 Tentative Confirmation’ link
- Enter the details, including email ID & password and then submit
- The seat allotment result will appear on the screen
- Download the seat allotment letter and take a printout for the further reference

If an applicant is allotted a seat, they can choose to accept the offer, confirm the offer with upward movement, decline the offer while opting for upward movement, or quit the TNEA counselling process. Upward movement means that the applicant wishes to change the allotted seat and participate in subsequent rounds of counselling.
