TNEA lateral entry rank list 2025 out at tnlea.com; special category counselling from July 21

TNEA Lateral Entry Counselling 2025: The grievance redressal window will be open from July 18 to July 20, allowing candidates to report errors and request corrections in their ranks through the official portal.
The Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu, has issued the TNEA lateral entry counselling 2025 rank list on the official website, tnlea.com. Candidates who applied for lateral entry counselling 2025 can now check their ranks using their login credentials, including phone number and password.
Candidates who find any discrepancy in the rank list can submit their grievances along with relevant supporting documents during the redressal window. As per the counselling schedule, the grievance redressal process will be open from July 18 to July 20. During this period, candidates can report errors and request necessary corrections in their ranking through the official portal.
The TNEA lateral entry counselling for special reservation categories, including differently abled candidates, ex-servicemen, and sportspersons, will be held from July 21 to July 23. General counselling is scheduled to begin on July 25.
The TNEA schedule for supplementary counselling will be announced later, after the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) releases its academic calendar. Online counselling for the Scheduled Caste Arunthathiyar (SCA) to Scheduled Caste (SC) category will also be conducted, and the dates for the same will be notified on the official website.

TNEA Lateral Entry Counselling 2025: Documents required
Candidates are required to keep the following documents ready, as they will be needed during the admission process.
- Class 10 mark sheet
- Diploma, BSc mark sheets – all semester mark sheets or consolidated mark sheet
- Transfer certificate
- Permanent community certificate card for SC, SCA, ST, MBC & DNC, BC, and BC Muslim (in the form of permanent card/electronic form/digitally signed e-certificate)
- Nativity certificate in electronic form/digitally signed e-certificate – if applicable
- First graduate certificate and first graduate joint declaration (only in electronic form/digitally signed e-certificate) – if applicable
- Sri Lankan Tamil refugee certificate – if applicable
- Relevant certificates for son/daughter of ex-serviceman, differently abled person, and eminent sportspersons – if applicable
