With the NIRF 2025 rankings, aspirants can explore India’s top-ranked MBA institutes while planning their admission strategy.
The Ministry of Education releases the NIRF rankings annually. As per the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025, Indian Institute of Management, (IIM) Ahmedabad has retained the top spot among management institutes, followed by IIM Bangalore and IIM Kozhikode.

According to the NIRF 2025 management rankings, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad secured the top position with a score of 83.29, followed by IIM Bangalore (81.56) and IIM Kozhikode (79.85). Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi emerged as the highest-ranked IIT in the management category, securing the fourth position with a score of 78.94.

CAT 2026
The Common Admission Test (CAT) is India's largest MBA entrance examination and serves as the gateway to the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and several other leading B-schools. Conducted annually by one of the IIMs on a rotational basis, CAT evaluates candidates on verbal ability, data interpretation and logical reasoning, and quantitative aptitude. The CAT 2026 notification is expected to be released soon, with the exam likely to be held in November for admission to the 2027-29 MBA batch.
